The Allen-Stevens Corporation - The Allen-Stevens Corporation was a full-service supplier of window and door hardware. Originally founded with the acquisition of Allen-Stevens Corporation as the platform and later acquisitions including Reflectolite Products, North America Die Casting, Atlas Bearings, Del Mar Manufacturing, and Lawrence Industries. The Allen-Stevens Corporation was sold to Truth Hardware in 1998. Allen-Stevens' diversified product lines included: window locks, outdoor electrical covers, patio door hardware, and utility knives. Allen-Stevens grew to become the world's largest producer of sash locks. *

Atlas Bearings Corporation - Atlas Bearings Corporation supplied unground bearings and screw machine products. Atlas Bearings produced steel and nylon wheels for various industrial applications and was a major supplier to its sister company, Reflectolite Products, in Pacoima, California. *

Del Mar Hardware - Del Mar Hardware manufactured patio door roller and door handles to the Canadian fenestration market. In 1988, the company expanded its overall product offerings by entering the casement window hinges market. *

Lawrence Industries - Lawrence Industries manufactured zinc die cast door and window hardware including pivot bars and tilt latches. *

North American Die Casting Corporation - North American Die Casting was a leading zinc and aluminum die caster offering complete casting services, including 4-slide technology. Fully automated casting machines utilizing state-of-the-art robotics assisted in processing over five million pounds annually. As part of the sale of Allen-Stevens Group to Truth Hardware, the majority of NADC was sold, but a minority segment of the business was retained. *

Reflectolite Products - Reflectolite Products was the largest manufacturer of sliding door and window hardware in the United States. The company supplied zinc die cast handles, locks, and rollers to major door and window manufacturers as well as to the "do it yourself" aftermarket. *

F&M Distributors - F&M Distributors was a deep discount retail superstore chain focused on selling a wide selection of branded health and beauty aids, cosmetics, fragrances and household supplies. The original F&M store was acquired in 1975 from the founders and grew to 113 stores at the time of the IPO in 1992.

Foam Rubber Products - Foam Rubber Products, founded in 1948, specialized in the custom design and fabrication of flexible urethane foam products for the office furniture and transportation seating industries. The company mass produced foam seating materials in a range of complicated shapes while meeting just-in-time delivery dates. The company employed an exclusive, patented product to assure impact resistance and fire retardation.

G&L Industries, Inc. - G&L Industries served the automotive interior trim marketplace with product expertise in compression-molded, recyclable, and natural materials. The company's principal products included door panels and door trim panels, rear package shelves, seat backs, trunk spare tire covers, rear quarter trim panels, and sunroof shades.
